The police have been virtually neutered in these situations, they live in fear of being prosecuted even when they are personally assaulted, the Dem Mayor and/or Circuit Attorney will not support, but, in fact, arrest the cop. So the cops are doing almost nothing to stop this kind of violent anti American behavior.
